13 gifts for daycare providers & teachers
With Christmas right around the corner, it's time to start thinking about Christmas gifts for your care giver/daycare provider/teacher.
In my opinion, this person deserves a really great gift! After all, this is the person who keeps your child alive, entertained, educated and safe all day.
Here's a few gift ideas
Gift Baskets
You could put this together yourself using any theme you choose. Here's a few suggestions of baskets:
Coffee - coffee beans, k-cups, coffee mugs, anything coffee flavoured
A bath/spa (self care) - bath bombs, lotion, bubble bath, face masks etc.
Teas - Tea cup, tea pot, loose tea, diffuser etc.
Wines - red, white, champagne, rose, wine glass, decanter, wine glass charms
A Christmas ornament
With the year on it or a custom one you design yourself.
Restaurant gift cards
This is a great way for them to treat themselves with their spouse or take their family out.
Meal delivery service
Hello, who doesn't like a night off from cooking? These are great services, you can send right to their door. Hello fresh, good food or miss fresh are all around the same price and offer different options.
Cute graphic tee
I love giving these as gifts because it's something they're not typically going to buy for themselves.
House cleaning service
I know I would LOVE this service and appreciate it so much. Who doesn't love walking into a sparkly clean home?
Pedicure
They are on their feet all day long, if anyone deserves a pedicure, it's them!
Movie tickets/ concert tickets
If you know of a concert coming up in your area that they would enjoy, you could surprise them with tickets. Same goes for a gift certificate for the movie theater.
e-book or audio subscription
If they don't already have one and you know they enjoy books in this format. I like listening to books and podcasts in the car.
Netflix membership
Again, if they don't already have a Netflix subscription this would be a thoughtful gift especially around the holidays.
Wine
Who doesn't love a good bottle of wine, even if they don't drink, they probably entertain and would be nice to have on hand.
Coffee or a coffee mug
They need it, and lots of it!
A plant
Big or small, it's a great gift idea and something they wouldn't normally buy for themselves.
A photo book
Create a photo book with pictures of the kids from the year. Tip, get started early to avoid paying extra for shipping.
