I'm not sure exactly how I picked this theme for Baby Sharpe, but I remember looking on PInterest for inspiration and there wasn't very much. This worked out well, because it gave me full control on the creativity. With the help of my grandmother and my mom, we transformed this empty spare bedroom into my favourite room in the house.
Change table/dresser
I really wanted the dresser that matched the crib! I registered for it and looked at it often online and in store. It was just too expensive. I don't even think I spent that on my own dresser. Instead, I found this change table on Kijiji and purchased paint that matched the crib and painted it. (With my Moms help). It turned out perfect. It's a nice small size, and now with the change pad off, it makes a beautiful dresser with room to display pictures and teddy bears.
With change pad
Now we don't use the change pad, and it looks great as a plain dresser. Updated wall art, you can download here.
Peel and stick wall decals
I purchased these from Jysk, they give it a jungle theme
Window Valance (Not pictured)
Rather than purchasing the Disney one, my grandmother made one with the same fabric from the glider cushions
The fake tree behind the chair gives it an outdoor and calming feeling. The lamp and stand I already had. It was nice to put my phone on or a drink when I was feeding Cameron.
My grandma purchased the Disney fabric and my mom found the large centre piece online. She created a beautiful comforter for Baby Sharpe and he still uses it today (almost 2 years old).
