Maternity Photo Session - Ottawa, On
Being pregnant is one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in my life. From the first positive pregnancy test, to an early ultrasound, to hearing the heart beat, choosing to find out the gender (or not, in our case) it was an incredible 40 weeks.
Being pregnant is remarkable gift and should be celebrated and remembered for years to come.
I did a lot of research through pinterest to find the poses and settings I wanted to mimic for our maternity photoshoot.
I gathered the props I wanted to include. Examples: ultra sound scan, a book, baby shoes etc.
The photoshoot took place at the Experimental farm in Ottawa, Ontario close to our home.
I waited until I was 37 weeks pregnant to have that perfectly round baby bump. I wore a cute black and white chevron Pink Blush maternity dress.
One of my best friends was the woman behind the camera and I think she did an amazing job. I’ll cherish these photographic memories for a lifetime.
